I can’t express enough how much I loved Serbia’s act. Meaningful lyrics! The scene! The clapping! Biti zdrava, biti-biti-biti-biti zdravaaaaaaaaaaa! Subtitles! YES TO ALL!!!
having lyrics addressing how mental health is just completely dismissed coupled with all that religious imagery in the staging hits incredibly hard when the cultural mindset in serbia is one of “mental illness isnt real you just need to go to church”

Anonymous asked:
look up the Heidentor ruin in Austria for a clever way to "restore" ruins without actually restoring them
chaotic-archaeologist Answer:
You’re right, I think that this is a fantastic, minimally invasive way of “recreating” a structure so that it doesn’t damage the site! Visitors can look through a see through window with an image etched onto it that will superimpose a recreation of what experts think the building may have originally looked like.
For those with ResearchGate access, you can also read an article about the physical display and other digital reconstructions of this site.

literally no better way to exorcise a shameful and or humiliating memory than by saying “i’m going to fucking kill myself” multiple times and moving on. #facts
